Dare to Be Kings

MISSION

The mission of the Dare To Be King Project LLC (DTBK) is to inspire,

support, and strengthen organizations that provide services to boys of

color. We aim to engage boys and men of color for emotional

development, familial reconciliation, and academic success.

DTBK is one of a few international firms that solely provide life skills

training, parental engagement strategies, and academic interventions

for boys of color.

VISION

DTBK seeks to expand its network by focusing on three key areas:

Provide professional development, best practices, and other

resources to support and strengthen organizations working

with boys of color;

Promote organizations with tools to ensure that boys of color

receive life skills training and support to succeed

academically and socially;

Provides organizations with a comprehensive curriculum designed to engage young males of color ages 11 and up. The curriculum uses a Train-the-Trainer model to support organizations that use the curriculum.
